They are very soft and easy for the students to master. They have a small hollow tank. They are traditionally used for cursive and scripting. The fine feathered schoolgirls are very resistant and are ideal for drawing and calligraphy.

These feathers are easily cleaned with a toothbrush and water. Rub the feather on both sides, taking care not to wet the pen holder.
