The ink Empire Green is a colour that evokes Napoleon Bonaparte's coronation on December 2, 1804 in Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris. Napoleon Bonaparte himself took the imperial crown (laurel crown) from the hands of Pope Pius VII and placed it on his head. He then crowned his wife Josephine who thus became Empress. This scene is represented by Jacques-Louis David's painting Le Sacre de Napoléon. Among the ancient Greeks and Romans, it had become established practice to crown poets and winners with laurels. In the Middle Ages, distinguished scientists in universities were also crowned with laurels.
These inks are finely filtered so as not to clog the pens. Very wide range of colours with 35 different shades, they are mainly composed of water, humectant in order to limit drying at the nib level and preservative to preserve their qualities over time. The dyes used have been specially selected to offer the richest colour range on the market. The rim of the glass bottle allows you to place a pen or a fountain pen holder.
Never mix two different inks. Rinse the pen or inkwell well before filling. Shake the bottle well before filling the writing instrument. If it is not used for a long time, it is better to empty it.
