K-3 is the new high-end lifestyle brand founded by Kenzo Takada and launched worldwide after the Maison & Objet show in January 2020. The meaning of the name K-3 is rooted in the Japanese kanji meaning three as well as in balance and harmony. For Kenzo Takada, the collaboration with Clairefontaine was an obvious choice. The artist's boundless creativity was manifested daily in various forms: painting, calligraphy. Some of the objects in this collection bear a Kintsugi, as a tribute to Japanese know-how.
