To care for your bamboo, simply wipe the tip with a cloth, and avoid running it under water as moisture and long-term drying will work the fibers and risk splitting the bamboo along its length, the fact that the wood remains colored will have no impact on your future calligraphy. Over time, the beak of your bamboo will inevitably become rounded, it is possible to reshape it with a strong pair of scissors, removing as little material as possible.
