Well-proportioned, intensely shiny black lacquer color, the hallmark of natural lacquer (urushi* in Japanese). The lacquering technique called Roiro, will give the fountain pen such a smooth and mirror-like finish, sublimated by the yellow gold plated attributes. The base of the fountain pen is made of ebonite, the tips are flat, the cap is screwed, the engraved clip "Pilot" is identical to the Namiki brand. The central ring is engraved "Custom Urushi - Pilot Made in Japan". 

Equipped with a long 18 carat bicolor gold nib, engraved with beautiful arabesques. What makes this nib out of the ordinary is its suppleness, we could call it a semi-flexible nib. The urushi, a natural lacquer from the Rhus Vernicifera, "the lacquer tree", is a species found in Southeast Asia, an emulsion with amber reflections that successive generations of Far Eastern peoples have learned to purify from all plant dust, to soften and make it even more brilliant before coloring it.
